-part one-
24 year old cindy is the only daughter of the vasquez family, she already owns the family mansion, the family restaurant and a small shopping mall, her parents died when she was only 13 at the time so at a young age she was determined to do everything to survive alone, she was left with everything the family owns, a set of maids and her own personal yaya, manang tiending, manang tiending lived her life serving the vasquez family and taking care of cindy, cindy has a close relationship with her yaya, when her parents died it was only her yaya to take care of her until she comes of age to be able to handle all the family left her with, she is now a liscensed docto and she still has time to manage all the business her parents left her.
came monday morning she recieved a letter from her aunt in the states, telling her that an 18 year old girl named rain will be coming over on saturday, the letter also said that the girl is very quiet and that in time she will know the real reason she was coming over, puzzled by the letter she was still eager to meet the said girl, she came home early from work to make arrangement for the arrival of rain, at 10:00 she was finished preparing when suddenly she got startled by a girl sitting at the piano of her late grandfather, she remembered that someone was visiting her so she quickly asked the girl if she was rain, the girl slowly looked at her with a faint smile and said " yes ", she immediately reached for her hand and introduced herself, " my name is rain de la cruz, im from the states, finally i have the chance to meet you cindy, i waited a long time just to see you and now im here, hope we can be best of friends " cindy smiled at her and asked her to join her at the table so they could talk some more and eat. while they were eating cindy suddenly noticed rain's face, she was a bit pale but beautiful nonetheless, rain noticed that cindy was looking at her and she said, " do i look like im dead? " cindy got shocked and quickly said, " no, i just noticed that your too beautiful, you look matured at your age ", rain smiled and went red.
cindy and rain went to the living room and had dessert, cindy asked how she met her aunt, she said " my dad is a family friend, when they died your aunt took care of me ", then cindy said, " im sorry to hear that, my parents died when i was 13 so i know the feeling ", they both smiled at each other, cindy then asked how they died, rain answered, " they died because they cannot bear the fact that my twin sister died ", she felt sorry for rain that she immediately told her to rest and that they could talk some more in the morning, so she guided rain to her room and left her to rest while she goes back to work. cindy went home at 3 in the morning and rested her aching back when suddenly she had the feeling that someone was watching her from the window, she looked at her window and got shocked with what she saw, she saw rain from her window looking at her with feirced eyes, glaring at her, it was like she was so mad at her that she was completely frozen from her bed, then suddenly rain was coming at her, and that is when yaya tiending woke her, it was just a dream but for her it felt real, when she looked at her yaya she noticed rain was standing behind her with a worried look, she then asked rain how her twin looks like, she answered " we look the same but we have a different birthmark behind our neck, why are you asking? ", cindy said she had a nightmare about her that she was looking mad at her and she almost attacked her, rain suddenly laugh, and said, " why would my sister be mad at you she does'nt even kow you, maybe your just tired, go back to sleep maybe tommorow you will feel better ", yaya tiending and rain also went back to sleep, but as for cindy she was still thinkng of her dream but still had the chance to fall asleep.
